Treadle Base For Damascus Sewing Machine

I am parting out an Antique early 1900s Damascus Treadle Sewing Machine. Damascus machines were introduced by Montgomery Ward to compete with Singer and Sears (Minnesota) and are almost identical. Up for sale in this auction is the cast iron treadle base. Please make sure to see ALL the pictures. What you see is what you get. This treadle base is in relatively good condition for its age, and pedals very smoothly. It could use a good cleaning. Since this is a vintage item, it is being sold "as is". Also, since it is cast iron, it is a fairly expensive piece to ship. In order to cut down on shipping costs, this item shipped disassembled. It goes back together fairly easily. All you need is a crescent wrench and standard screwdriver. Shipping is a flat rate of $35. If shipping costs to your location is significantly less, I refund some shipping back to you (check my feedback ratings). Thanks for your interest and please contact me with any questions. If you wish to insure your purchase, you will need to add the additional fee from the Post Office. Prices for insurance are as follows: $0.01 to $50 $1.75 50.01 to 100 2.25 100.01 to 200 2.75 200.01 to 300 4.70 300.01 to 400 5.70 400.01 to 500 6.70
